Kahamelo Forensic Services (mandated by D&T Trust Liquidators) conducted a forensic investigation into Liviero Mining’s financial affairs prior to and during business rescue. Kahamelo Forensic Services reported on whether Liviero Mining’s directors contravened Section 424 of the Companies Act. Kahamelo Forensic Services also assisted D&T Trust in drafting a report to SARS regarding Liviero Mining’s business rescue practitioner’s conduct. Mr. Ferreira testified as an expert witness during the Arbitration proceedings (Arbitrator: Advocate Louis Harms, a former deputy president of the South African Supreme Court of Appeal).
