Kahamelo was mandated by D&T Trust liquidators to carry out a forensic investigation that focused on the financial difficulties experienced by Marine and Offshore Logistics Services Provider, its mismanagement, breakdowns in its internal controls, poor corporate governance, fraud, misappropriation, and other illicit activities. Kahamelo also assisted the liquidators with expert reports to support claims against related parties for the misappropriation of company assets. Johan testified as an expert witness during the Section 417 Enquiry (Arbitrator: Advocate Fritz Brand SC, former judge of the Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa).
