Kahamelo was mandated by Mr. Mark Kaplan of the Law Offices of Kaplan & Gekht, a law firm based in the United States of America, to quantify an exact personal spending figure per month for the Respondent based on a dataset of 77 bank accounts’ 7 392 bank statements for a ten year period and to review the Respondent’s total income available for support in order to determine a total average monthly and cash flow available for support. Johan has been retained as an Expert Witness in the divorce proceedings.

Appointed by Ulrich Roux and Associates, Kahamelo assisted with the legal proceedings for a divorce matter that included financial assessments of a company’s global business performance and the impact of COVID-19.
International Asset Tracing and Valuation of Estate

Kahamelo was mandated by Du Preez Incorporated to identify and trace hidden local and international real estate and bank accounts held by one of the parties in a divorce proceeding, and to calculate the accrual in the parties’ estates based on the findings. Kahamelo was also mandated to perform an independent valuation of the companies in the estate, including a membership interest in a closed corporation.
International Group Company (Including Mauritius and Oman) Valuations for Divorce Matter

Kahamelo was mandated by Bronwyn May Attorneys Inc. to perform an independent financial assessment of the claimant’s estate, with a particular focus on determining the precise shareholding percentage held by the claimant in various entities. Kahamelo is currently assisting with the analysis of share registers, share certificates, CIPC records, and other corporate governance documentation for various share transactions and corporate restructuring events.
Forensic Investigation into Hostile Takeover

Kahamelo (mandated by D&T Trust Liquidators) carried out a forensic investigation into the hostile takeover and incorporation of a Gauteng-based Corporate Services Entity into a dormant closed corporation. Kahamelo assisted the liquidators in identifying and tracing assets and in obtaining forensically sound evidence, which was used to obtain further warrants under Section 69(3) of the Insolvency Act 24 of 1936.

Kahamelo (mandated by D&T Trust Liquidators) carried out a forensic investigation into the financial affairs of a Consortium Project Management Company to determine if any untoward activities occurred at the company.
